Mackintosh Productions

Let me help you bring your story (or your loved one's story) to life with depth, emotion, and authenticity

I’m a seasoned director, storyteller, and writer with a passion for capturing the essence of human experiences.

With over six years of experience in crafting compelling short films and conducting over 100 oral histories, I have honed my skills in delving deep into people’s stories to reveal their authentic essence.

Work with me

Filmmaking & Oral Histories

Since 2015 I’ve written and directed short films about the history and heritage of the city of Mississauga for the not-for-profit charity: Heritage Mississauga.

The TV Station WNED Buffalo is currently airing my films and The Majestic Credit River was chosen to screen at the MACArts Festival where I spoke on a panel with other directors.

Another short film of mine Memories of Small Arms Limited is a poetic story told from the perspective of a woman and man looking back on their time working at a WWII ammunition and firearms factory in Canada in the 1940s.

For this video, I tracked down five people in their nineties, who worked at this historical landmark, where more than two-thirds of the workforce was women. This video was shown at Council for the Mayor of Mississauga and City Councillors, and was also part of the In Situ: Engage Past To Create The Future, three-day multi-arts festival.
